Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 26 September 2026

1. Who we are and acceptance

StayBliss ("StayBliss", "we", "us") provides a web application for scouting accommodation and planning trips (the "Service"), which may be accessed through our website, on mobile and tablet devices, and through optional tools we provide such as browser extensions. By creating an account, signing in or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service.

2. Changes to these Terms and to the Service

We may amend, replace or remove any part of these Terms at any time and at our sole discretion, with immediate effect upon publication on this page. We are under no obligation to notify you individually of any change. It is your responsibility to review these Terms regularly. Your continued use of the Service after a change is published constitutes your acceptance of the amended Terms. If you do not agree to a change, your only remedy is to stop using the Service and delete your account.

3. Nature of the Service — planning tool only

StayBliss is a personal planning tool. We are not a travel agency, tour operator, booking platform, broker, intermediary or seller of any travel service. We do not take bookings, process payments for accommodation, or enter into any contract with you or any accommodation provider on your behalf.

Any booking you make with Booking.com, Airbnb, a hotel or any other third party is solely between you and that third party, under their own terms. We accept no responsibility for any booking, cancellation, refund, stay, service quality, safety or dispute arising from it.

4. No guarantee of information

Hotel names, locations, maps, photos, ratings, reviews, prices, regions, distances and other information in the Service are obtained from third-party sources (such as Google Maps, Booking.com, Airbnb), entered by users, fetched from links you paste, or generated automatically, including by artificial intelligence (for example price detection from screenshots). Such information may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate or wrong.

All information is provided for general orientation only. You must independently verify all information, in particular prices, availability, dates, locations and conditions, directly with the provider before making any decision or booking. You rely on any information from the Service entirely at your own risk.

5. Service provided "as is"

The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without any warranty of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, security or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free or free of viruses, or that data you store (trips, hotels, tags, notes, prices) will be preserved. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important. We may modify, suspend, limit or discontinue the Service, or any feature of it — including view links, invite links, browser tools, filters or any other feature — at any time, for any reason, without notice and without liability.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StayBliss, its owners, operators, contributors and service providers shall not be liable for any damage or loss of any kind, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive, including loss of money, bookings, travel, profit, data, opportunity or goodwill, personal injury or property damage, arising out of or in connection with the Service, its information, its unavailability, third-party services, or your travel, however caused and on any legal theory.

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the extent legally permissible. Under Swiss law (Art. 100 of the Swiss Code of Obligations), liability for unlawful intent and gross negligence cannot be excluded; nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence remain unaffected.

7. Your responsibilities

  • You are responsible for your account, keeping your login secure, and all activity under it.
  • You are responsible for all content you add, and for whom you share trips, invite links and view links with. Anyone with your join code or invite link may access and edit that trip; anyone with your view link can see that trip's content without an account.
  • You must not use the Service unlawfully, infringe the rights of others (including copyright in photos and hotel imagery), upload harmful code, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, its tokens, or other users' data.
  • You must keep any access token, API key or credential we issue to you (for example for a browser extension) confidential, and use it only as intended. You are responsible for all activity carried out with your token.
  • You are solely responsible for your travel decisions, bookings, documents, insurance, health and safety.

8. Sharing, view links and public content

Trips can be shared in two ways: an invite link or join code, which gives the person you send it to full editing access to that trip; and a view link, which lets anyone who has it view that trip's content — names, photos, prices, tags, notes and map position — without an account. You choose whether to create these links and with whom to share them. You are solely responsible for what you make visible through them, and you must not share content you have no right to share.

You may reset a view link at any time; after resetting, the previous link stops working. We cannot, however, recall content that recipients have already copied or seen. Do not include in a trip anything you would not want a person holding the link to see.

9. Fair use and usage limits

To keep the Service fast, secure and affordable for everyone, we apply fair-use limits, such as caps on the number of trips and hotels per user, on third-party lookups (for example hotel and place searches) per user or per address, and on sign-in and joining attempts. Limits may change at any time.

We may rate-limit, throttle, suspend or block any account, address or token that we reasonably believe exceeds fair use, abuses the Service, or endangers its availability, security or cost — without notice and without liability.

10. Analytics

We collect anonymised usage analytics (such as page views, sign-ups, trips and hotels created, and which features are used) to understand and improve the Service. Analytics are linked to an anonymous identifier, not your email, and never include the content of your trips. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

11. Third-party services and links

The Service relies on and links to third-party services (including Google Maps, Booking.com, Airbnb, analytics, hosting, database and AI providers). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, policies or conduct. Your use of them is governed by their own terms. Third-party content displayed in the Service (such as maps and photos) remains the property of its owners.

12. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, logo and name, belongs to StayBliss or its licensors. You receive a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for private, non-commercial trip planning. You keep rights to content you add and grant us a licence to store, process and display it as needed to operate the Service, including showing it to the people you share a trip with and to anyone holding a view link you create.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StayBliss, its owners and operators from any claims, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, the links you share, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

14. Termination

We may suspend or delete your account or any content, revoke tokens or links, or refuse access to anyone, at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice and without liability. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed exclusively by the substantive laws of Switzerland, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the seat of StayBliss in Switzerland, subject to any mandatory place of jurisdiction for consumers.

16. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to its intent, and the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service. We may transfer our rights and obligations to a third party.
